Wine provides moments of pleasure and joy, it inspires the way of hosting. Wine Tourism is a way for us to show who we are, our unique terroir, which is reflected in our wines, and, also, what nature gives us and all its surrounding beauty. Located 45km north of Lisbon Quinta de Chocapalha is an ideal location for a winescape. During all wine experiences – Discovering Chocapalha, Wine Lover Chocapalha and Terroir Chocapalha – you will have the opportunity to visit our vineyards, the winery, the barrique cellar and to taste our wines. Quinta de Chocapalha, Quinta de Sant’Ana and Quinta do Monte d’Oiro, are three family producers in the Lisbon wine region, which came together in a common project that aims to channel joint synergies in order to promote and raise awareness about their wines. The three Estates share their approach to winemaking and the will to build a closer relationship with the final consumer, sharing a passion for and knowledge of the region. The connection between these three families, who have known each other for a long time, emerged at a strategic time when they decided to disseminate what the Lisbon region has to offer, as well as its specificities, its riches and complexity, its history and modernity.

Working together, the Lisbon Family Vineyards believe they have much more to offer, maximising the characteristics that the three Estates already have in common: they produce gastronomic wines whose quality is awarded nationally and internationally; they are three family businesses whose personalised wines enhance the specific terroir of each Estate; the three Estates can be visited, since they are less than 1h from the city of Lisbon. Located between 30 and 50 km north of Lisbon, the three Estates are heavily influenced by the Atlantic: great temperature ranges and gentle sea breezes lend the wines a unique freshness and minerality.
